OCTOBER 27, 2023—Part of the social action programs of DPC is the visit to Gapan City Jail, as well as outreach activity for the Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDL), which teaches and inspires the students to perform Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy, especially during the month of October as the Christian Living Month. The selected student leaders, GPTA Officers and school personnel visited the BJMP-Gapan and distributed 285 hygiene kits for the PDL. The program began with a Eucharistic Celebration by Rev. Fr. Jose Salvador Mallari and Rev. Fr. Marlou Cruz, the Director for the Diocesan Prison Apostolate. We thank the BJMP Officers headed by Jail Warden CINSP Djohanny Domingo for the warm welcome.
